Studio Day 1 This was a rough day all around.. so I'm not really gonna say a whole bunch about it. What I will say is that the enemy was hard at work in a lot of ways and I was exceedingly proud of the guys, and myself frankly, for keeping cool heads. We talked through some of the challenges we are facing in how to work in this environment... it is very different than a traditional studio experience that we have been accustomed to. It seems the industry may be moving more in this direction... who knows? but to let you know how much the enemy was trying to crush our spirits, in the end of the day... even the hottub at the hotel was cold... ughh... We are looking forward to day 2.
Studio Day 2 Tim McElrone - Drum Session Stu givin' Tim a pep-talk... Tim is such a perfectionist... he can be pretty hard on himself. Stu in Producer role - Jeff Lee is the engineer with Tate Music Group. Mike Rome... chillin'... waiting his turn. Listening to some of the drum tracks. Jeff on the Talkback mic. Studio - Day 3 Stu rampin up for acoustic session. Waiting Stu and Jeff with the mobile studio. Stu - acoustic session No ventilation in the room. got very hot... had to lose the hoodie. Working Still Working. Ryan finally gets a chance to rock. Josh Dougan & Jeff Lee: TMG Producers .. "He heard one guitar, just blew him away...." Workin Hard. Getting artsy - Fender Strat nice.... Tim said: "Take one with me in it..." I said: "Smile Ryan!" Jeff, our project engineer, kickin' back End of the day.... At Downtown Oklahoma City - Toby Keith's Steak House. Toby wasn't there.
Studio - Day 4 Well this entry got delayed because we had a change in strategy. Without sugar-coating anything, we decided to pull out of the sessions because it became clear that we were not able to effectivley create a vaible product in the 4 days alotted. So instead of going in and recording on day 4, already knowing that we willl need to spend more time in the studio when we get back to Milwaukee, we opted to head home. We have some work to do but it should not delay the release by more than a month. So Stick around and check back for updates.

Studio - Day 3
